    Francesco Billari is Professor of Demography and Dean of the Faculty at Bocconi, he worked at the University of Oxford (Department of Sociology, where he also served as Head of Department) and Nuffield College (where he was a Professorial Fellow), and at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (Head of the Independent Research Group on the Demography of Early Adulthood).

    Marco Bonetti has a MSc and PhD degrees in Statistics at the University of Connecticut following his undergraduate studies in Statistics and Economics (University of Rome). He spent 8 years as postdoctoral fellow and assistant professor of Biostatistics at Harvard, with joint position at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Professor of Statistics since 2012. Research interests: statistical methods and applications in medicine, problems in survival analysis, clinical trials, screening, and more. Currently Director at the Dondena Research Center (Bocconi).

    Ariela Caglio is an Associate Professor of Management Accounting and Control at the Accounting Department of Bocconi University. Her research interests primarily rest in performance measurement and control systems for inter-firm networks, the evolution of the accounting profession, integrated reporting and compensation design. She is particularly fascinated by studying fashion firms and the soccer industry.

    Patrick Choi is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Bocconi University. He holds a BS in Computer Science, a BS and a MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering, a PhD in Marketing from Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests lie in the markets for digital information and media products, and in the interaction among distribution channels. His research applications include entertainment, retail, and technology industries.

  • Anatoli Colicev

    Anatoli Colicev is Assistant Professor at the Department of Marketing of Bocconi University. His research interests include digital marketing, marketing strategy, marketing-finance interface, social media analytics and the interface between macro and micro economics. He has earned my Ph.D. in Decision Sciences and Statistics from ESSEC Business School (2016) and hold a master’s degree in research (ESSEC) and economics (University of Cagliari). His work has appeared in Journal of Marketing (JM), International Journal of Research in Marketing (IJRM), International Journal of Production Economics, Service Science, and Administrative Science. In his research he actively collaborates with companies including YouGov Group and Metro AG group.

    Marco Maffezzoli is an Associate Professor of Economics at Bocconi University. His research interests spanned from International Real Business Cycle models to the intersection between neoclassical trade theory and modern dynamic macroeconomics. Currently, he is interested in heterogeneous agents models and their applications, both from a theoretical and a computational point of view. Broadly speaking, he is also interested in developing innovative tools in Python.

    Sungkyun Moon is Assistant Professor of Marketing at Bocconi University. His research interests are mainly to study the issues related to marketing strategies of firms and link firms’ marketing decisions to firm performance. In particular, he is interested in examining the financial impact of marketing decisions, the implication of marketing information disclosed by a firm, and the role of marketing executives in a firm. He applies empirical econometric approaches such as panel data econometrics to address his research questions. In conducting research projects regarding marketing information disclosures, he relies on marketing information disclosed by firms and third parties (e.g., financial or product analysts) through multiple communication channels (e.g., a firm’s annual reports, social media, or news articles).

  • Jonathan Shi

    Jonathan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics from the University of Washington, and completed a Ph.D. program in Computer Science at Cornell University, under the guidance of David Steurer. He focused on approximation algorithms, semidefinite programming, multivariate polynomial optimization, unsupervised learning, and quantum information theory. He is now working with Luca Trevisan on spectral algorithms on hypergraphs and tensors which may involve pseudo-random structures and statistical mechanics techniques.

    Luca Trevisan is a professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences and of Mathematics at U.C. Berkeley and a senior scientist at the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing. He is from Rome, where he studied at the Sapienza University of Rome, advised by Pierluigi Crescenzi. He has also been a post-doc at MIT (with theTheory of Computing Group) and at DIMACS, an assistant professor at Columbia University and a professor at Stanford.
